CAN WE HAVE SOME FAMILY GROUP PORTRAITS?
Yes of course. I’m a firm believer that a few groups of some of the key people at your wedding should be captured. Most couples keep it to between five and eight simple groups so they may enjoy the wedding that they have planned with their guests and not be fixed in front of a camera.
ARE YOU INSURED?
I have public liability which is essential for most venues now, and professional indemnity insurance which insures against loss or photographic failure.
HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHS DO WE GET?
I don’t limit how many photos that I give you but you can expect anywhere from 500+ photos depending on the length of the day. If you have a summer wedding with the longer days / evenings it’s likely to be more photos. If it’s a winter wedding with the shorter day we can be inside more and there is only so many photos I can take of people talking and drinking.
HOW DO WE BOOK?
Firstly, I always like to meet my clients for a ‘no obligation’ chat to discuss their requirements and learn about their day. This can either be a meeting in person or a skype / phone call. This is a good way for us to get to know you and you to know us as well. In order to secure your wedding date, you will need to fill out the Booking Form on our website, sign a wedding contract form and pay booking fee - £ 300.
HOW LONG UNTIL I SEE MY PHOTOS?
I send you previews of your day within 24hrs!! YES 24hrs!! Full 8 hour weddings are delivered up to 8 weeks from wedding. Engagements are typically within 2-3 weeks.
WHAT KIND OF EQUIPMENT DO YOU USE?
We use top of the range professional full-frame cameras and prime lenses. Each scenario requires something different: a macro lens for the rings, a tele lens for the church, a wide angle lens for small hotel rooms and prime lenses for portraits or low-light moments. The coolest feature however is that my cameras shoot completely silently, there is no camera clicking anymore, not a single sound disturbing the important moments – this was not possible yet just one year ago. Every photo is saved onto two separate in-camera memory cards – instant backup on-the-go! Then when we get home, we back up everything twice more. Wedding memories are too precious to lose, which has made me a bit of a backup-obsessive!
DO WE NEED TO FEED YOU AT OUR WEDDING?
No, however it's a long day and are very grateful if you do.
